BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) ? Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is expected in court as lawyers debate his request to have child sexual abuse charges dismissed among other issues.
The hearing before a Pennsylvania state judge on Thursday comes two months before Sandusky is scheduled to go on trial.
Lawyers are expected to cover a range of issues, from whether to allow prosecutors to use items from a search of Sandusky's home to whether Sandusky should be given more information about the details of the allegations. Sandusky's lawyer Joe Amendola says he doesn't expect the judge to rule immediately on the major issues.
The 68-year-old Sandusky faces 52 counts for alleged sexual abuse of 10 boys over 15 years. He's on home arrest awaiting trial in early June, and denies the charges.
