Trevi You Go to go well in Yarmouth?s Ladbrokes 66th East Anglian Greyhound Derby - Heat 7

The audience at Yarmouth will have mega entertainment on Wednesday evening, as the venue stages opening round of the Ladbrokes 66th East Anglian Greyhound Derby.

Every race has attracted a star-studded line-up, but the greyhound racing lovers will particularly follow the seventh heat. All eyes will be on Trevi You Go, who warmed up for this by landing the East Anglian Challenge.

P. Simmonds? trainee is up against some seasoned campaigners, and he will have to deliver a solid performance in order to thrive. After last month?s two back-to-back wins here, the son of Goldmine Ramble out of No Joke Sherry is in fine fettle, thus we expect him to come up with the show stealing effort.

Trevi You Go?s fresh two wins were full of fascination. The maverick hound beat Ayamzaman by 1? in the semi-final of the Carling East Anglian Challenge, before heaping further misery on the same opponent in the grade finale.

By clinching the top rank by a short head?s distance, he bagged the big prize worth ?1200. He is stepping into this battle with a lot of expectations.

The 3-year-old is such a talented hound that he will easily be able to make it to the next round, even if he fails to dominate the proceedings.? Other runners in the pack are:

Belvedere Emma, You Mind Me, Jaytee Pedro, Bickerton Olive and Ballymac Barn. The 462 metres flat race is going to be kicked off at 20:41 GMT. Just like the other first-round heats, it carries a cash prize worth ?125.

Belvedere Emma produced a career best performance last month. Her confidence is also at a high, and she deserves respect in today?s race.

Ballymac Barn is unlikely to trouble the big guns. You Mind Me, the Pall Mall victor, does not have a significant experience of running at this track.

The recent trials suggest all is well for Jaytee Pedro. P. Young?s charge, however, needs not to get crowded. Bickerton Olive is unlikely to enjoy the luxury of leading in this company.

One needs something extraordinary to stop the greats like Trevi You Go and Belvedere Emma from cruising to the next round. Good luck to all the hounds.
